I had this moment recently that made me realize something fundamental about how LLMs work versus how humans process information. And when I pointed it out, Claude had to be told twice before finally getting it. Even then, it only understood because I explicitly explained what to look for.

When you’re using AI tools, understanding this limitation helps you:
